Our clinic aims at offering people a holistic approach. We offer diversified chiropractic treatments and have Chiropractic Assistants to help the Chiropractor with soft tissue work (Massage) prior to treatment.
Available at the clinic we also have an Acupuncturist, a Clinical Psychologist and a Clinical Neuropsychologist in order to provide the best care you need.
Dr Alan Singh (Chiropractor):
He is a skilled Chiropractor who spent several years working in Sydney in family orientated Clinics before moving to Brisbane and then back to where he grew up in the Northern Rivers, with the goal to raise a family of his own with his fiancée Sylvia.
He has an extensive background in studying the human body, having a degree in Exercise Physiology and a Diploma of Education (Physical Education and Health Teacher) as well as a Masters of Chiropractic.
He is a very thorough practitioner who will also enjoy teaching you about your body. He has experience treating people of all ages and has a particular interest in treating children/teenagers, families and sports people.
The primary focus of his care is bio mechanical, which means he looks at how the structure of the body affects its function.
He is a manual adjusting practitioner with a preference for diversified techniques; however he is also proficient in TPT, activator and Gonstead techniques.
For best results he believes people should be actively involved with their rehabilitation.
For your convenience, he is covered for all Health Funds rebates, EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) and DVA (Department of Veterans’ Affairs).
Sylvia (Practice Manager/Massage Therapist):
“I am a caring person whose from a young age had the ambition to help and care for people and children […]my experience in psychology, community services, massage therapy and chiropractic assistance gives me a great satisfaction since I see them all as a way to help and be there for people […] It doesn’t matter what you do, it’s how you do things that is important.”
Alan’s wife, she is originally from France and has been living/working in Australia for 12 years….already! Despite her background in Psychology from France, she decided to study massage therapy and began working in various chiropractic clinics upon settling in Sydney 12 years ago. This is where she met Alan and since then she said that “we’ve been lucky enough to work together running various Chiropractic Clinics…and we love it!”
Since recently, Sylvia is happy to be back 3 mornings/week after a long maternity leave. The rest of the time she works from home and care for their young family.
Kris M Revson (Clinical Psychologist):
“I consider adult mental health and health psychology as my main area of experience and expertise, however due to my various career opportunities my experience extends outside of this area. I specialise in working with individual adult and older adults as well as providing therapy for couples”
She has worked as a psychologist/clinical psychologist and in a number of clinical/leadership positions since 1971. Her experience spans Education, DOCS, Health Department (mental health and general hospital) and private practice. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults and older adults in both hospital and the community settings.Her experience as a senior clinical psychologist covers community and inpatient mental health, general hospital and private practice. She has worked with patients presenting with anxiety, depression, grief and adjustment disorders as well as patients with severe mental illness in the inpatient psychiatric setting. She also has experience in working with patients who have been diagnosed with physical illness or disability and need to learn how to cope and adjust to their situation.
Her theoretical orientation is CBT based on collaborative case conceptualisation and short term solution focus model.She has extensive knowledge and experience in the full range of psychological interventions and will employ different models of therapy according to the individual patent’s needs.
Through her working life she has been committed to upholding the highest professional and ethical standards in her own work and the work of her professional colleagues through her involvement in teaching and supervision. She is committed to updating of her own knowledge and skills and regularly attend lectures and workshops relevant to her professional development.
Dominic Fallini (Acupuncturist):
Dominic has moved to Ballina from Broome, Western Australia, where he has been the owner and practitioner of a Chinese medicine clinic. He completed a Bachelor of Health Science, specialising in Acupuncture at the Australian College of Natural Medicine in Brisbane, and is excited to offer his unique and effective healing methods to the Ballina community.
Dominic is a qualified Reflexologist and Tui Na (Acupressure) practitioner and incorporates massage and relaxation techniques with each acupuncture treatment. He has also worked as a health coach, predominately for Vietnam Veterans, facilitating weight lose programs and rehabilitation exercises to build flexibility and strength.
Dominic is a certified practitioner registered with the Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Australia in the division of Acupuncture. He is also a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), Australia’s largest Chinese Medicine association.
With five years experience in practising acupuncture and Chinese herbs, the most common types of problems he can help include:
- Pain reduction such as tennis elbow, lower back, neck and shoulder problems
- Stress & Fatigue complaints causing insomnia, diarrhoea and constipation
- Auto-immune conditions like Ankylosing Spondylitis and Rheumatoid Arthritis

Dr Lynne Ridgway (Clinical Neuropsychologist):
She recently spent three years as Director of Specialist Mental Health Services in the beautiful Torres Strait Islands in very far North Queensland.
Lynne completed a combined Masters and PhD program in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology at the University of Queensland with a fascinating thesis on Hypoxia: The neurocognitive effects of prolonged and repeated apnoea in elite freedivers.
She is a Branch Committee Member of the Australian Psychological Society, and member of the Northern NSW PHN Clinical Council.
Lynne has also taught Clinical Communication Skills to University of Queensland medical students, Psychopathology to post graduate psychology students and has several publications in international peer reviewed journals.
